Elder Henderson in Arica, Chile

James has been transferred to Arica,
Chile. He says that the work there is so strong that they have 30 missionaries there right now. He loves it there, and once again has been blessed with a great companion. I think this is his 4th companion, and he is from Colorado, I think. His address will stay the same since it is the mission office address. He had his 20th birthday this past Sunday. He said it was great, but he was a little worried when the Assistants to the President called while he was in the shower. So while he waited for them to call back, he worried about what it was all about. Needless to say, he worried for nothing, they just sang Happy Birthday to him. We are sure missing him, he has been gone for 9 1/2 months now. Let me know if anyone wants me to forward his e-mails to you. Here is a Happy Birthday to my little boy. We love you James!!!!!

Leaving the nest...

I miss her already. She is not home very often anyway, between work and a social life, so I thought it wouldn't be much different. But, knowing she won't be home until Christmas makes a big difference. We love you Nae, have fun and be safe. Hugs and kisses- Mom

Goodbye breakfast, Aidan and RaNae

A possible stowaway... Idaho or Bust!!!

Final goodbye, unless you count the phone calls since...

5 teenagers...

For three weeks I can say I have 5 teenagers. Too bad all of them are not at home. James is in Chile, and RaNae is now in Idaho. But when James turns 20 in three weeks, I will only have as many as 4 teenagers at one time.

Bethany's 13th Birthday

She is officially a teenager. Watch out! She was very excited to turn 13 years old. She had her usual carrot cake and ice cream. For dinner we had stuffed shells (she goes back and forth between stuffed shells and lasagna each year). She is having her friend birthday party this next weekend. Happy Birthday Bethany!!!!!

Seth, Aidan and Joslynn

I was not really quick enough with my camera (especially since I am missing the button) to get Joslynn sitting still with a smile. But we took what we could, and here are some of the results. Seth and Aidan were troopers, anxiously awaiting to play at the park when we were finished.

Bethany and Clarissa

Bethany and Clare had a great time posing for pics. Joslynn didn't really cooperate, but oh well.

Ethen and Corey

I took the boys' pictures a couple of months ago. They were very entertaining, it was hard to get them to be serious. I think Ethen might have a future in modeling. He was hilarious.

Our trip to Utah....

We had a great time while in Utah. I loved seeing my brothers and sister (I wish Cindy and her family could have been there too). The kids had a great time seeing cousins. Rob let the kids ride Dixie, they loved it. Thanks Rob and Dixie! (Some of the pics are blurry, I had to use twilight mode as it got darker and I don't have a steady enough hand to keep it still) Thank you so much Dave, Chelsea and Brooklyn for letting us stay with you guys, we had fun. And thank you to Becki and Brian for putting up with us and being such great hosts. It was an awesome trip, I am so glad that we got to go. Thanks everyone for taking(making) the time to see us, we love you all so much.

Rob taught Seth the basics of "Roping"! Seth loved it!
Joslynn wanted to ride Dixie, but had a little trouble not crying.

Clarissa on Dixie (she loves horses, but this was her first time to ride one)
